When I was in school, all of my favorite classes came from my Creative Writing coursework. Once I graduated, I really lost touch with my love for writing. I can't fully tell you why. I always kept a journal of ideas, but writing felt like work. I can't really explain why, but over the last couple of years I have really fell in love again with writing. One day I would like to formally publish a piece of literature. For right now, I am still focused on forming my opinion.
A Word from Rahmi
This started as a section of the Designers' Corner substack. I wanted to create a space for me to just feel free to give my opinion on different concepts that I stumble across within design. It began because I was pissed about the Art Museum rebrand and had no home to house my feelings (I was truly upset), but I was surprised to find that once I had a home I had way more to write about. I will soon be turning this section in to it's own publication called Kaizen Index

Designers' Corner started as a way to document the process of building this creative ops tool and keep the many designers that I had spoken to in the loop on progress. In the last year it has grown to an audience of 3000+ with an open rate of over 40%

My father was a multi-sensory artist who's predominant medium was painting. He passed away when I was 14 and left behind over 500 pieces. One day I aspire to get his work into MoMa, but for now this Substack has been a great way to honor his work, continue his memory, and also share the works with new audiences.
